The incident, which was captured on CCTV, is said to be the latest in a long-running feud that the resident claims has lasted more than three years.

TikTok user Malcolm Mak shared several videos online, alleging that he and his family have been subjected to repeated harassment by a neighbouring couple.

The footage includes incidents dating back to 2024, showing a woman allegedly banging on his door late at night and shouting Hokkien vulgarities in the early hours of the morning.

Other clips appear to show the woman spitting outside his flat and taking a pair of slippers left outside the unit.

Mak also claimed the neighbours had stolen multiple pairs of slippers belonging to his family and damaged their bicycle.

According to CCTV footage from June 5, the situation escalated when a male neighbour was allegedly seen pouring liquid onto Mak’s front door before returning with a bucket and splashing more liquid while shouting vulgarities.

A confrontation later broke out outside the unit.

During the exchange, the male neighbour was seen striking Mak several times with the bucket. The bucket handle appeared to snap during the incident after catching on Mak’s head.

Mak did not appear to retaliate and instead took the bucket away while continuing to speak with the couple.

He later posted a photograph showing what appeared to be a cut on his neck following the altercation.

The Singapore Police Force confirmed that a report was lodged on June 5 regarding a dispute at Block 492F Tampines Street 45.

Police said a 44-year-old man is assisting with investigations into a suspected case of voluntarily causing hurt and intentional harassment.

Investigations are ongoing.

The videos have sparked strong reactions online, with many netizens urging affected residents to install CCTV cameras and document incidents whenever neighbourhood disputes escalate.

What would you do if you had to deal with neighbours like this for three years?
