Teo Heng KTV boss, Mr Jackson Teo, reportedly forked out money and paid for the wedding of two of his workers, in full.
According to Singapore Ink, his two workers, 31-year-old Mr Jiang from China and 28-year-old Ms Zhuang, first met 7 years ago while working at Teo’s Katong Shopping Centre outlet.
The couple were stressing over the costs of getting married here, and Teo then took it upon himself to cover the full cost of their wedding celebration and solemnization ceremony.
The costs of marriage increased due to the pandemic and the couple needed at least $7,000 to hold a wedding, which they found it to be too high a mountain for them to climb.
Teo later found out that his lovebird workers were having difficulties and decided to cover all of their wedding expenses.
There were more than 20 people present at their wedding at Katong Shopping Centre, and the couple said that they are very grateful to their boss Mr Teo for his kindness and expressed their hope to settle down in Singapore and being a part of Teo Heng’s future.
