A Thai actress has gone public with shocking allegations of repeated abuse by her ex-boyfriend, who is reportedly the son of a retired senior police officer in Thailand.
The suspect, identified as Kongla, surrendered himself at a police station in Bangkok after social media outrage intensified over the case and rumours spread that he had fled the country.
The actress, known as Bell, claimed she suffered multiple violent assaults throughout their relationship. According to Thai media reports, the abuse allegedly took place in restaurants, hotel rooms, and other public places whenever she attempted to end the relationship.
Bell alleged that Kongla initially lied to her about his marital status and concealed the fact that he already had a wife and child. When she later discovered the truth and tried to leave him, he allegedly begged her to stay and promised to divorce his wife.
However, Bell claimed the relationship became increasingly abusive after she attempted to break up with him again.

According to Bell, Kongla repeatedly warned her against filing a police report, allegedly claiming that his father’s influence within the police force would make any case disappear.
Fearing for her safety, the actress eventually decided to seek public support online before officially lodging a complaint with police at Phra Khanong Police Station in Bangkok.
One of the most disturbing incidents allegedly happened outside Bell’s residence after a night out. She claimed Kongla attacked her while she was intoxicated and struck her head with a hard object.
Bell further alleged that after assaulting her, he removed her trousers and abandoned her outside her accommodation while she was bleeding heavily. She was reportedly discovered the next morning by a neighbour, who helped alert others to her condition.
Thai media reported that Bell had suffered severe blood loss and could have died if she had not been found in time.
SUSPECT TURNS HIMSELF IN AS PUBLIC ANGER GROWS
Following the actress’ public accusations, online criticism intensified, with many Thai netizens questioning whether the suspect would receive special treatment because of his family background.
Rumours also circulated online claiming Kongla was preparing to flee Thailand to avoid prosecution.
In response, the suspect appeared at the police station with his lawyer ahead of the scheduled summons date. However, he reportedly refused to answer questions from the media.
His lawyer stated that Kongla surrendered voluntarily to counter rumours that he had escaped or was using family influence to interfere with the investigation.
Police later instructed him to return on the originally scheduled date as the investigating officer handling the case was not present at the time of surrender.
The case has since sparked heated discussions online in Thailand, with many calling for equal treatment under the law regardless of family connections or status.
