The Thai Health authorities have informed couples to wear a mask while having intercourse on Valentine’s day.
The authorities fear that the event might further increase the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
The department recommended wearing face masks and avoiding facing your partner while doing it and taking a quick antigen test the night before to ensure that they don’t spread the virus to each other.
‘Covid isn’t a sexually transmitted disease, but catching Covid is possible through close-contact breathing and exchanging of saliva,’ Bureau of Reproductive Health director Bunyarit Sukrat said on Friday.
The health Director added that couples should use positions that do not face each other.
