On December 25, a Thai reporter from Prachin Buri Province received a notification that a young woman went to ask for help from the police.
Kabin Buri Police Station said that a woman reported that she was left behind by her husband on the side of Highway 304 Kabinburi – Nakhon Ratchasima Si Maha Phot District.
The incident took place at night, she had to walk more than 20 kilometres along the road to Kabinburi police station for the police to contact their relatives because she did not remember their phone number.
When she arrived at the Police station the woman looks exhausted and weary
The woman Mrs. Amnuay Chaimoon, 49 said last night she left Bo Win, Chonburi Province at 3:00 a.m. with Mr. Boontom Chaimoon, 55, her husband.
When arriving in Si Maha Phot District, Prachin Buri Province, her husband urgently needed to urinate.
So he parked the car to urinate on the side of the road. At that moment, he said to his husband Why didn’t you visit the gas station? The husband didn’t answer. Then the husband stopped by to do some personal business. While he too went to urinate in the forest on the roadside.
The wife got off the car as well, but when he return he forgot all about her and drove off.
“At that time, I felt lost and scared. I don’t think my husband will forget me and leave me by the side of the road alone. Then I decided to walk on foot heading to Kabin Buri District in order to come and ask for help from the police”
Sell gold necklace to pay for bus ride
Her own mobile phone was in a bag that was placed in the front seat of the car.
The husband suddenly remembered and he contacted her wife’s cell phone in her pocket more than 20 times, but no one answered the call.
She ended up having to sell her gold necklace to pay for a bus ride to the Police station.
The reporter asked Mrs. Amnuay that if they really husband and wife? She replied that they are married and lived together for 27 years.
