Pubs, Bars and Karaokes in Thailand are set to resume their operations on Jul 2020.
These entertainment venues have remained closed even though Thailand enters the latest phase of their lockdown restrictions in Jun 2020.
A discussion has been held between the Thailand government and nightlife venues representative in regards to the re-opening of the entertainment venues. However, the final decision on the discussion will be expected to be announced by 26 Jun 2020.
Many entertainers and musicians in Thailand has appealed to their government to allow them to resume their work as their unemployment has put them in a difficult situation.
According to the Deputy Army Cheif General Nakpanit, the 5th stage of easing restrictions will commence, with or without the extension of the emergency order. If the emergency order is uplifted, all closure orders will also end.
This also means that it is likely that entertainment venues such as pub, bars and karaokes will be given the green like to resume their operation starting from 01 Jul 2020.
However, entertainment venues are expected to follow the guidelines provided by the government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
