
Willet Ong Tat Kee, 67, a massage therapist, was sentenced to 22 months jail after molesting a 32-year-old female client claiming that his massages could prevent breast and cervical cancers.
He ran his massage business from his home. He was also practicing a massage therapy which was self-created which was called “Willet Zone Point Therapy. He stated that he developed this therapy after 40 years of research.
The victim was molested on four different occasions when Ong practiced his “Willet Zone Point Therapy”. The victim sensed something was wrong when Ong touched her genitals and breasts. Ong informed her that it could prevent breast and cervical cancers. She paid him and left. But she returned for another three more sessions.
Ong, who was represented by lawyer T. M. Sinnadurai during the trial, intends to appeal against his conviction and sentence. His bail was set at $10,000.
For each count of molestation, offenders can be jailed for up to two years and fined or caned. Ong cannot be caned, as he is over 50 years old.
