According to a media release, a Transcab Taxi was spotted crashed into the drain in front of the Whampoa Drive Hawker Centre. The incident happened today (Jun 10) at around 10 am in the morning.

The impact of the accident had caused the metal fences along the drain to be badly damaged and tire marks can be seen on the scene. The driver got out of the car with the help of passersby.
According to the driver, he was feeling unwell and he stepped on the accelerator by accident which caused the accident.
The driver was later sent to the Raffle Hospital for further treatment.
