Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) posted on their Facebook, sharing how their patients who are unable to be home with their loved ones for the Chinese New Year, were given a specially prepared “reunion” meal.
The special reunion meal was put together by their kitchen team and includes dishes like dumplings, fried rice, shrimps and dessert.
TTSH said that the special reunion meal was intended to being cheer and comfort to them as they can’t be with their families during the festive period.
TTSH added that although some of us may be spending the Chinese New Year apart, “we take heart that we are always together, in heart”.

Lunar New Year has always been a time for the family. This year, a special Reunion meal was put together by our kitchen team with dishes including dumplings, fried rice, shrimps, and dessert with a festive twist to bring cheer and comfort to patients who are unable to be home during this time.
While some of us may be spending this festive period apart, we take heart that we are always together, in heart.
From our TTSH Family, here’s wishing you a healthy and joyous Year of the Tiger!
