A netizen shared how his neighbours upstairs just moved in 2 years ago and they have been making a lot of noise.
Here is the story
Basically this family moved here 2 years ago? Since then, there’s never like a nice quiet moment. I have went up twice to talk to them about it.
First was because of their vacuuming and dropping things on the floor, so vacuuming is alright, but somehow when they do it, there’s loud scratches sound.
They also denied it’s them and it’s the floor above. After that it somehow improved.
Second time i went up was because of their son, probably around the age of NS. He like to drop things and there’s moving things across the floor like chair, loud thudding on the floor due to his walking style and constant dropping of mahjong tiles on the his bedroom floor.
Mind that i understand people have their sort of entertainment during this period. But we are talking about 11pm – the wee hours here.
Again, when i went up the next morning the son wasn’t home and the parents mentioned it’s the people above them again.
Sometimes after these mahjong sessions till 3 – 4 am, the parent start knocking on something on the floor at 9am – 10am in the morning.
It sort of resembles people knocking on the floor of your door so that’s what i thought too, until i realize it’s them again.
Sometimes have to use a broom or something to hit my ceiling before they stop it. Then when i am taking a noon nap because of these, there’s some knocks to wake me up again.
The mahjong is weekly, while the knocking of something on the floor is once every few days. Just the day before, they were hammering something in the room above me, with some moments during 9pm.
Even my afternoon nap will get disturbed by them knocking some shit on the floor again, so whatever time i try to sleep, they always have some noise to make.
As i am typing now, that son is hosting his weekly mahjong session again. How to deal with this nuisance of a family?
Editor’s note: Sell your house and move into the unit above them then start playing mahjong at 3am.
