Veteran radio host and CNA presenter Eugene Loh has passed away at the age of 47.
His passing was confirmed by Mediacorp, who issued a statement that was quoted by CNA, saying that they were deeply saddened by his death.
Thee described Loh as being beloved by all who knew and worked with him, and that his deep and expressive voice made him a natural storyteller.
Mediacorp added that “We will miss Eugene deeply. This is a heartbreaking loss for Eugene’s family, friends and his colleagues within the Mediacorp family. We offer our deepest condolences and will do all we can to support his family and our staff who are grieving.”
Loh has hosted numerous shows on CNA938 throughout his illustrious 24-year career with Mediacorp, and has also narrated a few documentaries for CNA as a voiceover artist.
He also provided the commentary for a few National Day parades over the years.
