A Facebook Page known as ‘Wake Up, Singapore’ has taken to their social media handles to clarify that they are not related to an event named ‘Wake Up Singapore’ which coincidentally bears the same name as their page and that the event is held by ‘Healing the Divide’ Group.

In an image posted by the ‘Wake Up, Singapore’ Facebook page, it says:
“It has been brought to our attention that a group, Healing the Divide, will be holding an event titled “Wake Up Singapore” this weekend.
We understand that the subject matter of the event is Singapore’s Vaccination Program.
Wake Up Singapore is not involved in the said event in any way.
Earlier today, we reached out to one of the organisers to ask that it be made clear to participants that the event has nothing to do with us.
We understand that they will be releasing a statement to that effect in due course”
