According to ICA, they have seized a large number of weight loss products at Changi Airfreight Centre.

ICA said that they have foiled the attempt to smuggle 8,940 weight loss capsules suspected to contain banned substances into Singapore. The case was detected when our officers noticed anomalies in the scanned images of the parcels. The parcels were falsely declared as health supplements.
This case was referred to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) for further investigation.
Products that are under control requires proper authorisation (advance notification, licence or certificate approval) from the relevant authorities.
