A photo emerged online showing a wild boar being stuck in a road divider in the middle of the road somewhere along Sengkang.
The photo was shared online on 21 September by TikTok user @joylynlow, and showed the wild boar’s front body resting on the ground while its rear was stuck in the divider.
Officials from NParks later arrived at the scene to free the animal from its “tight” predicament.
An iteration of the video was posted on Facebook on 22 September, showing the wild boar running on the road divider along Riverdale Drive.
The driver who filmed the video said that the incident had purportedly taken place near Block 124 Riverdale Drive in Sengkang.
Netizens’ comments (SIC)
- Poor baby must have gotten separated. Now so scared and disoriented.
- Why always sengkang and punggol have wild boars?…
- The poor boar is more scared then u, got lost n separated, must panicking
- So you are the culprit who made the wild boar stuck between the railings. Hahaha!
- babi is lucky in singapore.. if in jb for sure become babique
- So sad to see so many chickens otters boars civet cats etc not having a proper forest or jungle to stay. Loss of habitats cause them to roam among public housing estates n even have to cross the roads . Its just not reported how many are being crushed by vehicles
- The whole sengkang & punggol suppose to be theirs. we invaded not them.
