A Facebook user, Bujji Samantha, shared how she was having breakfast at Jurong Point Cantine and allegedly found “15 baby cockroaches” crawling up her hand from the cutleries tray.
Here is what she said:
“It’s 8.35am,
I came to have breakfast at Jurong Point Cantine after my nightshift. I went to the Chicken Rice stall to buy some chicken Rice..
After ordering and making payment, I pullet out the green tray to put my stuff then about + – 15 baby Cockroaches starts crawling up on my hand and on the place where they keep spoons and Forks.
I demanded an explanation from the Malay lady who works at the Chicky Chicken Rice Shop but she refused to let me take photos or videos.. She quickly called the Aunty to clean the cockroaches.. I refused to take this food in a calm manner but they refused to pay me back and take video or photos
I was so hungry but now i have zero appetite.
I patronize this shop frequently for takeaways and grab orders but what i saw today makes me horrified…
I swear i am traumatized! How to ask authorities to conduct Check for the cockroaches ???
