Facebook user Sweetz Lyn shared how she bought a bottle of “Issey Miyake L’eau D’issey” perfume from a seller on QOO10 at one-third the retail price.
She later realised that it was fake and when she tried to get in touch with the seller, she got ignored. QOO10’s customer service also purportedly told her that she needs “solid proof” for them to investigate.
Here is what she said
I have purchased a bottle of Issey Miyake L’eau D’issey from a seller from Qoo10 at 1/3 the retail price.
Seller claims it’s original but the fragrance is totally off and the bottle only has a sticker saying “Made in france” instead of it being engraved.
I’ve been using this for more than 10 years and still have another bottle (original) with me. The fake one smells like some cheap pasar malam mixture.
Tried to contact seller but they ignored me. Contact Qoo10 customer service but they say I need solid proof that the product is not authentic for them to investigate.
If the pictures/bottle itself and smell is not enough proof, what else can? Please be careful when buying from online platform.
