In the quest for a healthier lifestyle, many of us turn to the convenience of online platforms to purchase everyday essentials, including mineral water. But upon pouring out the water from the thermal bottle, what greeted them was not the clear, pristine liquid they anticipated. Instead, mysterious flaking substances floated in the water, sparking immediate concern. The shock escalated when a closer inspection of the toilet flush revealed a layer of jelly-like, sticky, transparent material lining the bowl.
Here is what the netizen said:
will you drink this mineral water?
I boil n keep in thermal bottle, so next morning I can prepare my drinks.
I was shocked when I poured out the water from the flush next morning. I saw these flaking things. to my horror my flush Lining had a layer of jelly sticky transparent thing.
I lodged a complaint to Lazada… guess what they said.. they asked my boy to provide more photos and more evidence( I got my boy to order cause I do not register Lazada account) . email to me more time needed for investigation.
I went to the supermarket to check out. to my surprise even the label of the water bottle is different!!

The perplexed individual wasted no time and took their grievances to the platform where the water was purchased — Lazada. However, the response they received was far from satisfactory. Lazada, the e-commerce giant, requested more evidence and additional photographs. To add a layer of complexity, the person had enlisted their child to make the purchase, as they themselves did not have a registered Lazada account.
Here are what netizens think:
- Mineral water purchase and boil? No cannot. It’s Only meant to drink direct. Only tap water can be boil and only boil once. I don’t remember how to explain it in scientific.
- its likely minerals, i could deem it as “hard water”. Search it up. I’ve seen these in tap water even after running through a filter. Its even pronounced if you add ice and once it melts the minerals are more obvious.
- Am curious, how come you don’t want to boil and drink tap water instead?
