A woman on a commercial flight has sparked backlash online after allegedly allowing her long hair to repeatedly hang over a young girl’s entertainment screen despite multiple polite requests to stop.
The incident was shared online by the girl’s father, who said the situation happened while the family was travelling home from a holiday.
According to the father, his daughter had been quietly watching a movie using the seatback entertainment system when the female passenger seated directly in front repeatedly flipped her hair over the back of her seat.
The hair allegedly covered part of the child’s screen, obstructing her view during the flight.
Child Allegedly Asked Multiple Times
The father claimed his daughter politely asked the woman several times to move her hair back onto her own seat.
However, he alleged that the passenger ignored the requests and continued leaving her hair hanging over the screen.
The family eventually sought assistance from cabin crew after the situation persisted.
According to the father, a flight attendant later approached the woman and requested that she keep her hair within her own seating area.
However, he claimed that roughly 15 minutes later, the woman allegedly repeated the same behaviour again.
The father said his daughter became increasingly frustrated after repeatedly having her screen blocked during the flight.

The situation later took an awkward turn when the father decided to intervene personally.
He reportedly switched seats with his daughter after she temporarily left for the restroom.
When the child returned and questioned why they had swapped places, the father allegedly responded loudly enough for the woman in front to hear.
According to the viral post, he remarked: “I really like her hair, so I wanted a better view to admire it.”
The comment reportedly caused immediate embarrassment.
The woman allegedly pulled her hair back onto her own seat shortly afterwards and later put on a hoodie, preventing it from hanging over the screen again for the rest of the journey.
