
According to ICA, a 35-year-old Singaporean woman was charged earlier today for breaching her Stay-Home Notice requirements.
Rameswari Devi D/O Jairaj Singh arrived in Singapore from Johor Bahru, Malaysia on the 30th April 2020. She was given a stay home notice(SHN) period from 30 April to 14 May 2020. After she cleared immigration, the authorities brought her to Ibis Novena Hotel to allow her to serve the 14 days.
However, on the 4th of May, she left the hotel and did not return until 8 days later on the 12 May 2020.

She will be charged in court today. A person convicted of an offence under the Infectious Diseases Act and its Regulations is liable to a fine of up to $10,000, or up to six months’ imprisonment, or both.
