According to a ZaoBao, a woman was found dead in a hotel located at Geylang Lorong 18 on the 5th December 2019 at around 2.43 pm.

The woman has been identified as a 53-year-old Singapore Permanent Resident.
After staying in the Geylang Hotel for eight days, the woman did not show at the hotel counter on the check-out date. The hotel staff went to the guest room to find out and witness that she had been hanged in the room and immediately called the police.
She originally checked into the hotel on November 27. She should have checked out on the 4th of December 2019. But she contacted the front desk to extend her stay by one more night.
The police have classified the incident as an unnatural death.
