Facebook user KT Ram shared on Facebook that she placed an order with a company called Nordic Space via the Atome app but felt suspicious of the company.
So she contacted Atome and asked if they could “hold” her remaining payments, but her payments continued to be sent to Nordic Space.
She added that “now I have fully paid for the items and received nothing.”
Here is what she said
I was browsing Atome app and chanced upon Nordic Space. I placed an order on 12 May 2022. On 23 May, I wanted to check on my delivery status, however the website link on Atome app became a dead link. I felt suspicious of the Company and quickly alerted Atome on this and requested if they could hold on to my balance 2 payments. However, they replied me that they would investigate on this.
3 months down, I have sent at least 10 emails to Atome to check on my order. They not only did not hold my payment and continued to pay to Nordic Space (despite my warning of Scam), each reply is ‘we need more time to check.’
Their customer service is totally unhelpful and have no sense of urgency to this matter. They could have prevented me from losing more $ if they have stopped my balance payments as alerted in May. Now I have fully paid for the items and received nothing.
Don’t Atome has a responsibility to scan through the list of merchants before placing them on their company platform? We ordered from Nordic Space because we believe they are authentic since they are on Atome app.
