She had apparently found a huge hole in her wall, and doesn’t know if it is the fault of her contractor or her painter.

Here is what she said

Can ik this is painter’s or contractor fault?? My 1st time doing house reno, it was all nice before passing to contractor.

He never tell me till I went down today n ask him. He say when doing electrical at kitchen will affect bedroom cuz my house is old flat wall is thin. ask ur painter help you can already. My painter will charge me for this again.

  1. Contractor should use plaster to cover it up for u. Normally you will have left over paint in hand, handover to contractor and tell them to do their job. Don’t pay them the final payment until all is done. Else they will not do it.
  2. Did he in advance warn u abt the thin walls? If so and u decided to proceed then u suck thumb.
If not his responsibility. So he can blame thin walls, low walls, lousy tiles etc if he breaks ur things?
  3. Definitely is contractor’s fault…. He should help to plaster it back… it’s not painter’s job..
  4. so irresponsible ah? licensed hdb contractors?
take photo submit to hdb online under contractors – let hdb deduct his merits
