A woman was seen in a video having an agitated confrontation with another commuter inside an MRT in Singapore.
She was seen shouting at the other woman and asking why her baby was not wearing a mask.
Wants baby to wear mask
The Singapore Karen was seen in the video asking the mother of the baby who does she think she is to shout at her, to which the mother replied that “ya I’m a nonsense, ya”.
The Karen then shouted at the mother, “how come your baby never wear a mask? Huh?”
To which the mother replied that she is just a baby, prompting the woman to retort: “Baby also must wear mask! How I know your baby doesn’t have virus? Can you guarantee she doesn’t have have the virus?
The video was then cut before resuming, with the Karen shouting: “Come so near me for what, you are a big problem!”
Children wearing masks
According to MOH, only children who are above the age of 6 need to wear a mask when out in public, and for those below 12, they are allowed to use face shields instead of masks if they find difficulty wearing it for long periods.
