WOMAN WHO THREW DRIVER’S LICENSE PLATE AT HIS CAR, WANTED BY JOHOR POLICE

The Johor Police issued a statement regarding the viral video that emerged online showing a woman attacking another car at the Tuas Second Link, Malaysia Checkpoint.

Johor Police’s statement (Translated)

Iskandar Puteri, 9 July 2022 – Police are still tracking down the suspect in the act of mischief that took place on the road near the CIQ Second Link Immigration.

During the incident, the victim who drove a Toyota Alphard car changed lanes to the right and collided with a KIA vehicle from the right.

The suspect had stopped the vehicle and alighted a Chinese man and a woman. The male suspect then acted to shout obscene words and also showed obscene Signals to the victim while the female suspect acted to remove the registration number of the victim’s car and threw the number towards the windscreen of the victim’s car.

During the incident the victim was on his way back from Forest City to Singapore. The victim suffered no injuries and there was little damage to the victim’s car.

There was CCTV footage from the dashcam in the victim’s car. The case is being investigated under section 427 KK (Khianat).

Road users are advised to drive prudently and not in a hurry, especially on the CIQ Second Link route.
