TikTok user @herziantyy__ shared on her TikTok page on 26 July, documenting how she got her dress caught in an escalator at MBS.
She said that she knew something was amiss when she felt something pulling at her as she was getting off the escalator.
She then shouted at her friend to press the emergency stop button of the escalator before the situation took a turn for the worse.
An MBS security guard and front office personnel then noticed her situation and rushed forward to help her, as they gave her a bottle of water and asked if she was okay.
A maintenance worker then arrived at the scene soon after, and eventually pulled out the woman’s dress from the escalator, freeing her after about 15 minutes.
She added that she was “totally okay” and that the only thing that was bruised was her “pride”.
