32-year-old Nipapron Meeking, visited a clinic for an eyebrow tattoo session in the Rayong Province of Eastern Thailand.
She said that she wanted her new eyebrows to look pretty and her friend suggested a shop for her, and she ended up paying SGD$57.73 (1,500 baht) for the session.
However, the tattoo session went wrong and she ended up with 2 extra permanent eyebrows above her existing ones.
She said that she was speechless when she looked in the mirror and confronted the artist, who then promised to rectify their mistake and remove her additional eyebrows.
However, the shop then closed down the following day and Nipapron couldn’t contact them anymore or locate them.
She then reportedly hid herself at home for a year, refusing to leave her house because of her four eyebrows.
Knight in shining armour
Another tattoo artist, 32-year-old Pattawee Phumkasem, learned about the poor woman’s predicament and offered his assistance to her for free.
He removed her extra eyebrows and will soon be able to restore them after three months, saying that he had to remove the old ink and wait for it to fade before he can outline the new eyebrows.
