A video emerged online showing a woman enjoying a flaming cocktail when an unimaginable accident happened and she suffered burns to her face.
A flaming cocktail is a drink that contains flammable alcohol that is lit up with fire while the consumer drinks it, the flames are usually for entertainment purposes, although the burning of the alcohol may bring about a toasted flavour.
The incident happened in Hong Kong on 15 June, and the 25-year-old woman was seen in the video sticking her straw into the flaming drink.
Suddenly one of the cups that was burning, collapsed from the top of the drink and fell onto her face, with the fire spreading onto her face as she screamed and backed away from the counter.
She was reportedly sent to the hospital for treatment , as was seen in photos being pushed in a wheelchair and covering her face with a cloth.
