A 3-year-old girl was reported being lifted into the air by a kite at a festival on the 30 Aug 2020. The incident happened in Taiwan at the Hsinchu City International Kite Festival.

A video of the incident has been shared on Facebook with the girl seen tangled by the kite. The girl was seen tossed above the crowd and people below her was screaming in fear for the little girl.
The girl was sent to the hospital for treatment after suffering from abrasions. Luckily no other serious injuries were sustained from the incident. Activities at the event were since suspended after what happened.
