YP PIERCE NOSE TO LOOK COOL, END UP INFECTED WITH PUS

An unfortunate story of my own personal experience has taught me a valuable lesson about the dangers of DIY piercings. At the time, I was a young punk, in my late teens and full of teenage angst.

I wanted to look cool and attract girls, so I decided to pierce my nose myself.

I had seen a few people with nose piercings and thought it would give me a certain edge. I knew it was dangerous, but I was young and naïve, so I decided to go ahead with it anyway. I went online and bought a piercing kit. It came with a needle and some jewellery, so I thought I was all set.

I sterilized the needle and jewelry in alcohol, then I numbed the area with an ice cube. I had watched some videos on YouTube to learn how to do it the right way, so I felt like I was prepared. I took a deep breath and pierced my nose.

At first, it felt great. I was proud of myself for doing it. But after a few days, I started to notice something wasn’t right. My nose was red and swollen, and it started to hurt. I thought it was just normal healing process, but it kept getting worse.

I went to the doctor and he told me that I had a severe infection. He said that DIY piercings can be very dangerous and that I should never do it again. He prescribed me some antibiotics, but it didn’t seem to help. The infection kept getting worse and I started to see pus coming from the piercing site.

It was a horrible experience. I had to take antibiotics for months and the infection took a long time to clear up. Not only that, but I had to deal with the embarrassment of having a pus-filled nose piercing. To make matters worse, nobody was too impressed by my “cool” piercing.

I’m lucky that I didn’t suffer any long-term consequences from my DIY piercing, but it’s a lesson I’ll never forget.
