
The Ministry of Finance announced as part of 2020’s budget, that $100 worth of grocery vouchers will be given in October 2021, to about 160,000 Singaporeans who are eligible.
The vouchers are part of the Budget 2020’s Care and Support Package.
They are given out to support the household expenses of Singaporeans in the lower income spectrum, helping them during the period of financial instability caused by the uncertainty of the economy.
Those above 21-years-old in 2021, living in 1 and 2 room HDB flats and who own not more than 1 property, are eligible.
The vouchers will be mailed to the recipients registered addresses from 2 October onwards.
The vouchers can be used to Giant, NTUC, Prime and Sheng Siong supermarkets.
