In a bizarre turn of events, a 15-year-old teenager in Malaysia showcased audacity reminiscent of a superhero, defying the odds to gift his brother a peculiar present – a logo with the word “HAKIM” taken from a government official vehicle, according to Sinar Harian and Kwong Wah.
However, the excitement was short-lived, as the police swiftly intervened, resulting in the arrest of the brothers and the confiscation of the pilfered logo.
The Unconventional Gift
The teenager boldly removed the “HAKIM” logo from a government official vehicle and presented it to his brother, who bears the same name. The unusual gift, intended to be “relatable,” quickly attracted law enforcement’s attention and led to unforeseen consequences.
The brothers’ mischief did not go unnoticed for long. On January 8, the police, specifically the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), knocked at their door in Batu Caves, effecting the arrest and confiscating the emblem. The logo was reportedly removed from a car used by a Federal Court judge, adding a layer of significance to the incident.
The brothers, not content with the logo heist, added to their misdeeds by scratching the judge’s car using stones. The act, captured on CCTV, provided undeniable evidence of their actions, leaving no room for escape.
Press Conference Revelations
Sentul’s Chief Police, Ahmad Sukarno, disclosed in a recent press conference that the brothers, on their way home from playing football, had pleaded guilty to damaging the government vehicle parked in Taman Koperasi Polis, Fasa Dua. The judge’s driver discovered the damages and the missing “HAKIM” logo when leaving a nearby mosque after prayer.
The brothers faced legal repercussions for their actions but have since been released on bail. The incident highlights the consequences of impulsive actions, even if intended as a seemingly harmless prank.
