The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported 1,734 new cases in Singapore on 19 Nov 2021.
1,633 cases belonged to the community, 97 cases belonged to the foreign worker dormitories and four cases are imported.
268 out of 1,633 cases are seniors above the age of 60.
16 deaths were also reported, and they are aged between 52 and 93.
All of them have underlying medical conditions resulting in their demise except for one unvaccinated case who has no underlying medical conditions.
The weekly infection growth rate has fell to 0.77, down from 0.90 yesterday.
It has been seven consecutive days since the infection rate has gone down below 1.
The utilisation rate of ICU facilities has also gone down to 57% today, which is down from 58.8% yesterday and 70.2% on 4 Nov.
The total number of fatalities including those in today’s situation report stands at 641, and the total case count in Singapore is now at 248,587.
