The two lions that escaped from their container at Changi Airport and were shot with tranquilisers and sedated have recovered from the anesthesia.

The lions were purportedly part of 7 lions that were transiting to a facility overseas, and they are under the watchful care of Mandai Wildlife Group’s veterinary and quarantine team.
All 7 of the lions are being cared for at the Mandai quarantine facility.
At the time of writing, it is still unclear where the lions were heading to and from.
SIA said that they won’t be commenting further due to confidentiality and commercial sensitivity reasons and that the incident is under investigation.
