A boy was found walking around Woodlands Mart at Woodlands Avenue 6 by himself, wearing only a pair of slippers and a diaper, according to Shin Min Daily News.
The incident happened on 19 April.
A member of the public, Mdm Zhang, spoke to SMDN saying that the boy was found by a couple walking around aimlessly around the vicinity at about 9pm.
They asked her if the boy was her child, as they spent about 45 minutes trying to look for the boy’s parents.
The boy was also seen in a photo sent to SMDN looking in a daze, and they tried to talk to him in several languages but the boy didn’t answer, and only shook his head.
The police were then informed after about an hour of searching for his parents unsuccessfully.
Mdm Zhang added that she went home to get the boy some clothes, and other passers-by had offered him food and drinks but the boy refused.
The police provided an update yesterday saying that the boy was finally reunited with his family and that no injuries were reported and no further police action were required.
