A Facebook user, Paul CMK, shared how he bought a Jawbreaker burger from 4Fingers at their Orchard Gateway outlet and found a gigantic piece of bone inside it.
Here is what he said
First, Worse & probably LAST time eating at 4Fingers (Orchard Gateway outlet)
I was attracted by the seemingly JAW BREAKER MONSTER so I ordered one. 1st thing the lone single counter auntie never even greet me welcome but just shouted all orders will be more than 30mins but I was determined to try this monster burger.
After waiting some time nbr came up to collect but I was so disappointed by the miserable squashed up & deflated looking like a beaten ‘dead monster’. Worse was the temp of the burger was room temp mean it was prep elsewhere or left there for quite some time. Feeling a bit sore already but I decided to still take my very first bite and wah lau eh
Is literally JAW BREAKING when my teeth sank into a gigantic piece of BONE!!!!!
Since this was my 1st time I tot maybe they leave bones in a burger? So I went to the counter and they were as shocked as my jaw was. Never even offered a sorry just tell me to change it at collection counter. At collection counter the lady looked at me like I’m making the story up but still ask me return 5mins later. More waiting.
After a while I came to collect my replacement monster but it was the same lukewarm mashed up deflated burger. I resigned to my fate and decided to slowly bite into the burger just in case my teeth broke this time again. Luckily it was a regular one. I then look at the fries and they were oily, crooked and looked like they were from yesterday. Really low standard of fast food and the worse I’ve ever experienced in my entire life of eating fast food.
This location is a touristy spot yet this is the kind of standards the owner is giving to customers. heavily Understaffed & food quality is crappy.
I’m sorry I’ll not try this place ever again.
4Fingers responds
“Based on our knowledge, this is the first of such an incident we have experienced at our stores.
The patties for our Jawbreaker burgers are prepared with fresh chicken chops (not minced). The chicken thighs have to go through a deboning process where our supplier may have lapsed. Normally chances of such incidents are extremely low (<1%).”
