ALL OF MALAYSIA AIRLINES PLANES WOULD BE TRACKED BY SATELLITE MAKING THEM THE FIRST TO DO SO!

By becoming the first airline to sign an agreement for space-based flight tracking of its aircraft Malaysia Airlines had made history

By reaching a deal with Aireon LLC, SITAONAIR and FlightAware LLC to enable it to keep track the flight paths of its aircraft wherever in the world with the airline which lost a wide-body jet with 239 people aboard three years ago.

According to an emailed media release from Aireon this would comprise aircraft flying over the Polar Regions and the most remote oceans.

 As a result of Aireon’s launching a new satellite network with Iridium Communications Inc. that will let it to monitor air traffic around the world thus monitoring service is made possible.

It’s projected to be completed in 2018.
