CROCODILE SEEN IN WATERS @ WEST COAST PARK, NPARKS ADVISES PUBLIC TO STAY CALM

A video emerged online on the Singapore Wildlife Sightings Facebook group, showing a crocodile being spotted in the waters off West Coast Park, as reported by MustShareNews.

The crocodile was seen under what appears to be a jetty, and the National Parks Board is monitoring the area for public safety.

The scales and snout of the crocodile could be seen as the netizen zoomed in on his camera, as it swam across the jetty.

What appears to be the teeth of the crocodile could also be seen in the close-up shot of the reptile, along with its long jagged tail.

The Straits Times reported that NParks has since put up warning signs at West Coast Park after the sighting of the saltwater crocodile.

The public is advised to stay calm and back away slowly if they encounter the crocodile, and not approach, provide or feed the reptile.

They are monitoring the area and will continue to keep a close watch on the situation.
