Facebook user Shahiz Shah shared on Facebook how his fiancee was queueing at the Woodlands Customs on her motorcycle when another motorcyclist cut her queue.
The motorcyclist in question then threw away her motorcycle keys after being confronted.
An Act of Roadway Rudeness
In his Facebook post, Shah did not mince words as he described the motorcyclist’s behavior. He labeled the rider as “really rude,” going as far as to use more colorful language to express his frustration.
According to Shah, the man exhibited a complete lack of manners and never bothered to signal his intention to enter the queue.
To add fuel to the fire, the motorcyclist allegedly found fault with another rider, escalating an already tense situation.
Empathy and Outrage Online
Shah’s post quickly garnered attention, with fellow netizens expressing a mix of outrage and sympathy. Many empathized with Shah and his fiancee, envisioning how they would feel if their loved ones were treated similarly.
The video shared by Shah captured the accused motorcyclist engaging in a heated exchange with another rider, accompanied by a cacophony of honks and loud complaints from onlookers.
A Curious License Plate Twist
As the incident unfolded, eagle-eyed netizens noticed something peculiar about the accused rider’s motorcycle – his license plate was curved upward, partially obscuring the letters and numbers on the plate.
This raised questions about the legality of the plate and whether it complied with Singapore’s regulations. It’s worth noting that this detail added another layer of intrigue to the incident.
Reporting to Authorities
In an effort to seek justice, several netizens advised Shah to report the incident to both immigration officers and the police. It became evident that many felt strongly about holding the motorcyclist accountable for his actions.
Furthermore, a comment on a separate Facebook post on the group Malaysia-Singapore Border Crossers revealed that the man had allegedly been reported to officers at both sides of the customs.
