ICA is aware that members of the public have received calls from some offices of our checkpoints recently. On some occasions, the unknown caller, who may or may not use ICA’s numbers to call, would claim to be an ICA officer and ask the recipients to provide their personal information (e.g. bank account or passport numbers) and/or transfer money, in relation to cases or investigations which they were allegedly involved in.
ICA would like to clarify that these calls were not made by our officers.
Members of the public are advised to take precautions when they receive such calls.
