The shocking domestic dispute reportedly took place in mid-November and quickly drew attention online after images and videos from the scene began circulating on social media.

According to reports from Australian media outlet News.com.au, the teenager had undergone cosmetic nose surgery about a month before the incident and was still recovering from the procedure.

During a heated quarrel between the young couple, both of whom are 18 years old, the pair allegedly began shoving one another before the boyfriend’s hand brushed against her nose.

Teen Claimed She Heard A “Pop” Sound

The girl later told local authorities she panicked after hearing what she described as a “loud pop” coming from inside her nose.

Fearing the cosmetic surgery had been damaged or disfigured, she reportedly became overwhelmed with anger and pain.

She allegedly admitted to grabbing a kitchen knife before slashing her boyfriend once across the head.

According to her statement quoted in foreign media reports, she said the boyfriend did not attempt to avoid the attack “as if accepting his guilt”.

The knife wound reportedly left the young man with a deep four-inch cut across his scalp, causing heavy bleeding at the scene.

Photos and footage later showed blood running down the side of his face while the girl’s legs were also stained with blood as she attempted to help him after the attack.

Girl Later Apologised To Boyfriend

Despite the violent confrontation, the girl reportedly called emergency services herself after calming down.

When paramedics arrived, she was allegedly seen sitting over her injured boyfriend while pressing a blood-soaked cloth against his head to stop the bleeding.

During the ambulance ride to hospital, she reportedly remained beside him, holding his hand while appearing visibly emotional and distressed.

She also stayed at the hospital while the teenager underwent treatment and stitches for the head wound.

The girl later apologised for the incident, saying she had “lost control” due to fear and pain linked to her healing nose surgery.

Boyfriend Declined To Press Charges

According to reports, the boyfriend chose not to file a police complaint against the teenager despite suffering a serious injury.

As a result, local police did not arrest the girl following the incident.

The case has since sparked discussions online about anger management, cosmetic surgery recovery and toxic relationship behaviour among young couples.

Thailand has seen a significant rise in cosmetic surgery procedures among young adults in recent years, with nose augmentation procedures remaining one of the country’s most common aesthetic treatments.
