A 45-year-old man has lost his Singapore Permanent Resident after breaching his stay-home notice from 20 Feb to 23 Feb 2020. The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has also barred him from re-entering Singapore.
The 45-year-old PR arrived at Changi Airport on the 20 Feb and he was told to stay home for 14 days as he recently travelled to China. However, he did not respond to phone calls and he was not home when ICA officers conducted a check on him.
On 23rd Feb, he tried to leave Singapore via Changi Airport, he was warned that he could face penalties but still insisted to leave Singapore.
ICA has rejected his application for renewal of his Re-entry Permit, which allows a person to retain his or her PR status while outside of Singapore. This means that the subject has lost his PR status. ICA has also barred him from re-entering Singapore.
