Heard cases of ppl being investigated for defying the enforcers. I almost become someone being investigated for the same offence. Tis is wat happened.

Earlier, at my stall. Face mask on. The heat was unbearable with the satay. Saw a group of three (one male two female) coming towards the coffeeshop.

I turned Ard, took a towel, pulled down the mask to my chin, wiped my face wif the towel and took a sip of drink. Wash my hand and Pulled the face mask back on. Continue to do my satay.

Suddenly, one of the female from the group came to my stall. I saw the pass she was wearing. An enforcer.

Enforcer : Saw u wif your face mask down to ur chin. Must cover the nose and mouth at all times in the stall.

Me: Sorry ma’am, I wiped my face and took a drink. Tats why I pulled down the mask

Enforcer: I don’t care, not my problem. Must cover mouth and nose at all times.

Whilst talking, my face mask drop down from my nose. ( I’m fat, surely my face big)

Enforcer: See now ur face mask not proper

Me: Ok

( Pull up my mask up to cover my nose and continue wif my work).

My wife who saw the whole incident was shocked by the exchange.

I agree that u are given the authority. I respect the authority given to u. But please dun be arrogant becos of the authority. Please learn to be tactful when approaching ppl. Dun need for u to be rude unless u can tell me how I can wipe my face and drink wif my mask on.

I’m wondering whether the persons being investigated for defying the enforcers were treated the same as me and got defensive.
🤔🤔

Btw, stay safe everyone. Stay indoors and keep u mask on when outdoors.
