
Hong Kong announced that they will implement further restrictions to control the surge in Covid-19 cases, inlcuding taking a leaf from Singapore’s playbook by banning dining in and making face-masks mandatory when outdoors.

The new rules will be effective from Wednesday onwards, as authorities warned that it was critical to contain the virus within this period.
This will be the first the dining in restaurants will be banned in the city, of which 2,600 people have been infected with 19 dead.
