Responding to Mothership‘s queries, The Singapore Police Force said that a baby boy was found at Tai Keng Gardens On July 27, inside a recycling bin.
The police were alerted to a call for assistance at around 7.46pm, paramedics were called as well and they attended to the baby, who was in stable condition and sent to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
A witness told Mothership that noises were heard from a recycling bin in the private estate and they (the witness and her husband) initially thought it was a stray animal.
They soon found out that it was actually a newborn baby.
The newborn baby was placed in a paper bag and wrapped in a white cloth.
The placenta of the baby boy was still attached.
Police investigations are still ongoing at the time of writing.
