COVID-19 FOUND ON SEAFOOD PACKAGING IN CHINA

According to a media release, the Chinese authorities have found COVID-19 virus on the packaging of imported frozen seafood that arrived at the port located in Dalian City.

The seafood was known to be brought by companies from the Yantai City in Shandong Province. The place of origin of the frozen seafood was not announced. Early in July, a similar case was found by the authorities in Liao Ning where COVID-19 virus was found on the packaging of frozen shrimps imported from Ecuador.

According to the local government, the affected goods has since been sealed off. People who had come in contact with the good was ordered to go through quarantine. All these people have negative test results.
