
Following a limited-edition sneaker launch that drew a worrying number of crowds at the Foot Locker outlet at Orchard gateway, the aforementioned store has since been ordered to suspend their operations for 10 days for failing to compky with Safe Management Measures.
Photos which circulated on social media drew the ire of many Singaporeans, calling out the people who were queuing for endangering not only themselves but the people around them during this tumultuous period of the pandemic.
Enterprise Signapore and the Singapore Tourism Board said in a joint statement that the Foot Locker Orchard Gateway is not premitted to conduct physical retail activites from 5 Deember to 14 December.
Investigations are ongoing and further punitive repercussions may still be added.
