
On Jan 13, 47 airsoft guns were seized by the Singapore Police Force(S
PF).
A man, 38, was also arrested during the process of the operations by the SPF after going through various investigations. Investigations are still ongoing.

Under the arms and explosives license of Singapore, it is an offense to have possession or import airsoft guns or any other guns that are able to shoot pellets using compressed gas.

Once convicted of possession of airsoft guns or any other gun, the person will be liable to a fine of not exceeding $5000 for each gun and imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years.
Also, anyone who is caught importing or exporting airsoft guns or any other gun without a license shall be convicted to a fine of not exceeding $10,000 and an imprisonment term of not exceeding 3 years.
