A video emerged online showing an elderly woman placing her bag onto another couple’s table at a hawker centre.
The auntie was seen putting her bag onto the couple’s table and shouting: “I can put my things here, nobody is sitting here!”
The woman recording the video told her to “at least ask” before placing the bag on her table, to which the auntie retorted:
“THIS IS A PUBLIC PLACE!”
The auntie then shouted with her eyes wide open: “YOU OWN THIS PLACE?!”
The woman’s boyfriend/husband then jumped in to defend her and shouted at the auntie (who was with her husband): “YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SAID FIRST AH, AI SIO PAK HOR (want to fight hor)”.
The woman then remarked that the auntie was telling her that she was a “rich woman” before telling her “ya rich woman, please go eat somewhere else.”
The auntie then got up and started dancing and making “wooo wooo” sounds at the woman, to which the woman’s boyfriend then told her that she was disgracing herself and asked “how old are you?”
Then auntie then made a parting remark at the woman “like a child like that”, to which the man retorted “you are worse, don’t talk to my girl like that!”
