MAN WANTED TO MAKE EX-GF JEALOUS, DATE A GIRL THAT SHE HATES & END UP MARRYING THAT GIRL

0

My wife silently cries for hours every night and I don’t know what to do

My wife and I are school sweethearts. When we met, I was dating someone else, a girl I’ll call Fran. Fran and I got along like a house on fire. Fran broke up with me. I was bitter. I wanted her to feel jealous so I dated the one girl Fran couldn’t stand and gave her everything Fran wanted. It was my now wife.

Over a decade later and I’m happily married. She’s so smart and sweet and beautiful to me. She’s my soulmate. she loves me so deeply. I didn’t even know it was possible to be loved this much.

A few months ago, Fran reintegrated herself back into our friend group. We’re a social bunch.

There was a girl’s night. They took two cars to the event. My wife was supposed to be in one car while Fran was in another. Fran was driving and a driver plowed into the side of the car.

I found out that Fran’s car was in an accident. I asked about the girls, including Fran. Fran has a couple of broken bones I didn’t ask about my wife. I didn’t know. She wasn’t even supposed to be in that car.

I called my wife. She didn’t pick up but I figured she had heard about the accident. It wasn’t until an hour later that I found out that my wife was in the car. She was the most seriously injured since the other car plowed into the passenger side.

My wife was a champ. Pulled through physical rehab like it was nothing. Always had a smile on her face. Everyone was impressed by her attitude and strength.

I woke up one night because I was thirsty. Somehow I realized that she was crying and she was doing it silently so I wouldn’t wake up. I laid awake for the next few days. She would cry for hours at night. And be good in the morning. When I shift in bed she becomes even quieter. But she still cries.

I don’t think anyone has noticed that she’s sad. all of our friends are still focused on Fran who is still injured.

I don’t know what to do. I love my wife so much. I don’t know why she’s hiding her tears from me.

MAN-CHILD THROWS TANTRUM WHEN THINGS DON’T GO HIS WAY, BLAMES EVERYONE BUT HIMSELF

0

What’s the worst man-child or woman-child you have encountered?

Just sharing my experience here.

One of my colleagues is a real man-child. He has a entitled mindset and believes people around him should accommodate his poor habits. If we go for 1-hour lunch break together as a group, he will spend half an hour to decide on what food to get while the rest of us already finished. And even after getting his food, he eats very slowly while ignoring that the rest of us are losing our patience.

And when we planned our cohesion trip to Penang and already fixed the dates 3-4 months ago, he only bought the air tickets the day before departure and complained that the airlines were extremely unfair to raise their prices and should “keep it cheap” for him.

Worse is his working attitude. If you simply ask him why did he opt to do Method B instead of Method A, he will get upset, throw a tantrum and literally throw stuff on the ground. And then refuse to speak for a week.

And he is already in his late 30s and complaining why he is single lol.

Netizens’ comments

  1. “He will get upset, throw a tantrum and literally throw stuff on the ground and refuse to speak for a week”
How is he not fired already? Your company tolerance threshold is quite high I guess.
  2. worked in a ramen shop once as a waitress, this man with kids came in on a busy lunch shift so that meant their food wasn’t gonna be out in 5 mins, he kept asking me to hurry the chef n i told him to be patient cuz he wasn’t the only customer
what he did next was so embarrassing idk how he had the confidence to do it. he stormed into the kitchen n stared at the chef with his arms crossed n stomping his foot like an actual child during a tantrum demanding for his table’s food
the fact that he was with his kids but they were behaving better than he was
  3. My FIL.
Every day at 6ish, he will ask my MIL where’s his food while watching some show on his laptop. Once he’s done, he will tell my MIL “I’m done already you can clear”.
Until one day when my kids finished their dinner and were about to bring their plates/bowls to the kitchen, I whispered to them to “go to ah gong and ask why he doesn’t clear his own plate”. His embarrassing response was “oh ya ya OK I clear now”.
Ever since then he clears his own plates.

S’PORE MAN GOT ROBBED IN BATAM, LOST HIS CASH, PASSPORT, PHONE & END UP WITH 17 STITCHES

0

In a shocking incident, a Singapore permanent resident (PR) named Bahara became a victim of a violent robbery while on a business trip to Batam, losing his valuables and ending up with 17 stitches on his head as a result.

Robbery

On the evening of Jul. 26, Bahara found himself at the Nagoya Foodcourt, a popular spot frequented by tourists. The area, situated near a hotel and residential region, appeared tranquil at 3 am, with few people around.

Unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows, Bahara was engrossed in watching a YouTube video on his phone when he suddenly he felt a jarring blow to the back of his head, followed by several more strikes.

Startled and disoriented, Bahara realized that he was under attack. Despite the assault, he managed to maintain consciousness.

Two assailants swiftly snatched Bahara’s belongings and hastily escaped on foot, leaving him lying on the ground, injured and in pain.

After a few minutes, he gathered his strength and sought help from the nearby food center’s cleaners and stall assistants, who provided assistance.

Losses

Upon reaching a hospital approximately 10 minutes away, Bahara received medical attention for his injuries, which necessitated 17 stitches on the back of his head.

The robbers had taken his wallet, containing his NRIC, cash, and credit cards, along with his phone and passport. Moreover, Bahara’s spectacles were broken during the violent attack. He suspected that the attackers had wielded a large tree branch as a weapon.

Reporting the Incident

Despite the traumatic experience, Bahara promptly reported the incident to the local authorities. However, he expressed uncertainty regarding the possibility of retrieving his stolen phone, as he could not recall its unique IMEI number.

The IMEI number is crucial in tracking a phone’s last connection to the mobile phone network, but without it, the chances of locating the device become challenging.

Recovery and Support

Presently, Bahara is recuperating from his injuries in Batam, with the assistance of a supportive friend. He has informed his family about the incident but does not wish to overly worry them.

Through this troubling incident, Bahara hopes to raise awareness among visitors to Batam about potential dangers and urges caution when venturing into poorly lit areas or using unverified transportation services.

CYCLIST BEATS RED LIGHT & KENA BANG BY VAN @ KALLANG, STILL WANT TO CONFRONT DRIVER

In an incident that occurred on Jul. 31, 2023, a cyclist broke traffic rules and got his retribution almost instantly when he was run over by a van.

Disobeying the red light at the junction of Kampong Bugis and Kallang Road, the cyclist found himself in a collision with an oncoming van.

The shocking moment was captured on a motorist’s dashcam and later uploaded onto Facebook.

The Collision

The incident took place around 7:30 am at the pedestrian crossing near the junction of Kampong Bugis and Kallang Road.

A man on a bicycle was observed riding towards the crossing despite the red light signaling pedestrians and cyclists to halt. Ignoring the traffic signal, the cyclist ventured onto the road.

As the cyclist continued across the road, an oncoming van suddenly collided with him, causing him to be flung into the air.

However, what followed was a stroke of luck and quick reflexes. Instead of a disastrous fall, the cyclist managed to break his fall with an impressive roll, landing on his feet—almost as if he had taken a page out of Spider-Man’s playbook.

Following the collision, the cyclist was seen walking to retrieve his bicycle. Meanwhile, the van’s driver promptly exited the vehicle to check on the cyclist’s well-being. Another motorcyclist also stopped to offer assistance.

Reactions and Criticisms

The dashcam footage of the incident quickly made its way to social media, sparking a range of reactions from viewers.

Many criticized the cyclist for his recklessness, arguing that obeying traffic rules and wearing a helmet could have prevented the accident altogether.

A Lucky Cyclist

While the cyclist’s decision to break traffic rules was undoubtedly unwise, his fortunate landing amid the collision is a reminder of the unpredictability of life.

Sometimes, despite taking unnecessary risks, fate can take an unexpected turn. However, relying on luck alone is not a strategy for safety on the roads.

Conclusion

The incident of the lucky cyclist breaking traffic rules is a testament to the importance of responsible behavior and road safety. It serves as a cautionary tale for all road users, highlighting the potential consequences of ignoring traffic signals and not taking necessary precautions.

It is imperative that we all play our part in creating a safer environment on the roads by obeying traffic rules, wearing helmets, and exercising caution.

33 Y.O MOTHER SPLASHED HOT WATER ON HER 4 YOUNG CHILDREN & CAUSED 10% BODY BURNS

0

In a heart-wrenching incident, a woman was charged in court on Aug. 1, 2023, for a disturbing act of ill-treating her four children by splashing hot water on them, resulting in the kids suffering about 10% of burn on their body.

A gag order has also been issued preventing the woman’s name from being published, in order to protect the identity of the victims.

What happened?

On Jul. 2, 2022, between 6 am and 9:34 am in a Tampines HDB unit, the woman allegedly splashed hot water on her four children, one son, and three daughters, aged between eight and 11.

The children suffered superficial partial-thickness burns, ranging from 1 percent to 10 percent of their total body surface area. The 10-year-old daughter bore the most serious injuries with burns on her left arm, left hemi-abdomen, left thigh, and right thigh. The severity of the injuries underscores the brutality of the act.

As a consequence of her actions, the woman faces four charges under the Children and Young Persons Act.

Court records revealed that the woman and her husband have since divorced each other, and the children are now staying at a shelter for children.

If convicted, she could face a jail term of up to eight years, a maximum fine of S$8,000, or both.

Other similar cases

A 41-year-old woman in Singapore stabbed her son with a knife after being angry that he had gone into her room without permission to use her phone, according to Channel NewsAsia.

The boy was bleeding profusely after the stabbing and he then went into his bedroom where he then called the police for help.

The woman, who cannot be identified because of a court order, was sentenced on 17 May to 2 months imprisonment after pleading guilty to one count of voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon on a minor.

What happened?

On the morning of 6 November 2021, the victim went into his mother’s room and took her spare phone to play, despite his mother telling him not to go into her room.

He ignored her instructions and continued playing with her phone, and the angry mother then went into the kitchen to grab a knife that measured 21cm long, before heading into her room with it.

Her son was under the blankets and lying down on the bed at the time, and she then pulled the blanket off of him before moving her hand (which was holding onto the knife) in a stabbing motion.

The boy ended up being cut on his thigh as he bled out and was crying in pain, before fleeing to his room and locking the door.

He then called the police for help, telling them that he had been stabbed by his mother with a kitchen knife.

He was subsequently conveyed to the hospital with an open wound before being discharged about a few weeks later after the incident.

MAN CHARGED BATTERY OF ILLEGAL PMD & CAUSED FIRE THAT RESULTED IN HIS MUM’S DEATH

0

In a tragic incident that occurred on March 5, 2021, at a unit on the 11th storey of Block 456 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10, a personal mobility device (PMD) caught fire while charging, leading to the death of a 49-year-old woman named Madam Tay Choon Hwee.

The incident was ruled as a misadventure on 25 July by State Coroner Adam Nakhoda. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by illegally modified PMDs and the importance of adhering to safety regulations.

According to the report, Madam Tay Choon Hwee’s son, referred to as Mr Ching, had purchased an illegally modified PMD from a person named Mr Muhammad Shahrul Abdul Razak for $1,400. Mr Shahrul had advertised the device on Carousell after his wife found it too big. He explicitly informed Mr Ching that the PMD was not compliant with Land Transport Authority (LTA) regulations.

The Illegally Modified PMD

The PMD that Mr Ching purchased had been modified. The original battery pack was removed, and the device was powered by two external 36-volt lithium-ion battery packs given to him by Mr Shahrul. It is important to note that the 72-volt charger used by Mr Ching might have been incompatible with the two 36-volt battery packs, potentially leading to overcharging and subsequent fire.

On the night of March 4, 2021, Mr Ching brought the PMD home, and at approximately 2 am on March 5, he attempted to charge the battery packs using a charger he already owned. Though he noted that the voltage of the charger matched that of the battery packs, he hesitated and monitored the charging process for two hours due to fear.

Tragic Outcome

After witnessing no issues during the initial charging, Mr Ching went to sleep, leaving the battery packs to continue charging. However, between 5 am and 6 am, he was awakened by his mother, who heard what sounded like explosions outside. When they opened the door, they discovered a fire engulfing the PMD in the living room, with the lithium-ion battery cells popping.

As the fire spread, Mr Ching rushed to the kitchen toilet to get water to extinguish the blaze. During this time, his mother experienced difficulty breathing due to thick black smoke filling the kitchen area. She attempted to return to the bedroom to call for help, but her vision was obstructed.

Rescue Efforts and Tragic Outcome

Amid the chaos, Mr Ching managed to shout for help through an open window, and a concerned member of the public called the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for help.

The SCDF officers used a compressed air foam backpack and a jet hose to put out the fire. Tragically, Madam Tay Choon Hwee was found unconscious on the floor with items on top of her. Despite paramedics performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, she was pronounced dead at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) at around 8 am.

The State Coroner’s Conclusion

Following a thorough investigation, State Coroner Adam Nakhoda emphasized the inherent dangers posed by modified PMDs.

He strongly advised against purchasing and using such devices. Instead, he recommended that users only opt for UL-2272 certified and LTA-registered PMDs.

Moreover, he stressed the importance of charging PMDs using the supplied chargers to mitigate potential risks.

MAN HEARS FOOTSTEPS IN HIS HOTEL ROOM, FINDS FOOTPRINT & THE WORD “DEATH” ON WALL

On July 11th, a traveler checked into a hotel in Thailand after a long day. Exhausted, they opened the hotel room and rested inside without paying much attention. The room, priced at 1200 Baht, was on the 5th floor, room 510. Little did the guest know that this ordinary hotel stay would soon take a bizarre turn.

Around 3 or 4 in the morning, the guest woke up and experienced an odd sensation. At 1:13 AM, they felt as if something was moving around their feet.

Curiosity got the better of them, and they decided to inspect the room more closely. To their surprise, they noticed a small shrine dedicated to a local deity in front of the balcony.

The presence of the shrine itself was not unusual; what puzzled them was the fact that there were two identical shrines on different floors of the hotel.

Feeling even more intrigued, the guest continued their investigation. They noticed peculiar markings on the wall near their headrest, and upon closer examination, discovered that it was written, “Death happens right here.”

Strangely, there were indications of footprints near the spot mentioned, and that it wasn’t there before he slept, making the whole situation even more mysterious.

Unable to shake off the unease, the guest decided to change rooms. They requested a move from the 5th floor to the 2nd floor, hoping for a peaceful rest. However, even in the new room, they found it challenging to fall asleep, remaining awake until daybreak.

One particular item puzzled them the most – a Thai Baht coin placed at the head of the bed. The purpose behind this coin’s positioning remained a mystery to the guest, leaving them with a lingering question.

The post, written in Thai, was shared on Facebook, quickly gaining attention from curious netizens who offered various speculations about the strange occurrences.

The man also revealed that he hadn’t pre-booked the hotel and had simply searched for a place with available rooms. Room 510 happened to be the last one available that night, which seemed like sheer coincidence.

The hotel staff also said that the room in question was not meant to be allocated to guests and was always kept locked.

As for the shrine in the balcony, they attributed the presence of the shrine on the balcony to a lack of available space within the hotel.

KIASU S’PORE WOMEN SNATCH CLOTHES OFF RACK @ S’PORE EXPO LIKE HUNGRY VULTURES

On Sunday (30 July), a TikTok user uploaded a video showing a group of women at Singapore Expo swarming towards a clothes rack and snatching clothes off it before the staff could even set it up.

The incident captured on TikTok on Sunday (30 July) at the Singapore Expo has taken the internet by storm. The footage shows a woman in white causing a commotion at a sale event, with other women following her lead.

The video opens with a woman dressed in white standing next to a rack of clothes at the Singapore Expo. It is evident that a sale is underway, with several other shoppers gathered around, presumably eager to grab some deals.

However, before the woman in white can even approach the rack, a lady who appears to be a staff member stops her as they were trying to set up the rack first.

The woman in white’s attempt to approach the clothes rack gets thwarted by the vigilant staff member. This is where things take a surprising turn.

As soon as the staff members start pushing the rack, the woman in white reaches over and starts snatching the snatching the clothes off the rack, resulting in other women also joining in and following suit, as all of them started snatching clothes off the rack, causing pandemonium and chaos and clothes flew and landed everywhere.

The staff members’ efforts to position the rack properly become futile as the situation escalates. The tussling leads to some items falling on the ground, creating even more chaos.

The viral clip doesn’t just capture one isolated incident. Instead, it shows this behavior repeating with other racks as well. It becomes apparent that this is not an isolated event but a widespread phenomenon during the sale.

Towards the end of the video, the woman in white strikes again, snatching items from a fresh rack. This time, a throng of other women joins in the frenzy, causing a frantic rush for clothes.

Amidst the clamor, a voice, presumably a staff member’s, can be heard futilely trying to calm the situation with repeated cries of “Wait, wait, wait!” but without any success as the women ignored the staff.

  1. The legendary first world country, third world people reputation. 🙁
  2. Kiasunism. The art of not being the last, not being the loser and must be the winner at all cost. Think about it. It is because of this that Singapore is what is is today. Not, saying it’s a good thing or a bad thing but due to how that same exact mentality transpired over time. It is an identity that has been and always will be part of society. Take care, Singapore
