MAN’S EX-WIFE UPSET HE ADDED “ROT IN HELL” & TOMBSTONE UNDER TATTOO OF HER NAME

0

When me and my wife first got married we got matching tattoos of each other names.

Well recently she cheated on me and we got a divorce. She got her tattoo of my name removed, and I was planning on getting mine removed but then I got a better idea. I called my tattoo artist and I got a tombstone on her name and under it, it says “rot in hell”.

When I went over to her apartment to pick up my 8-year-old daughter she pointed out the work I got on my Tattoo. I asked if she liked it, she just laughed awkwardly and that was the end of it for now.

Later that night I’m watching TV with my daughter and my phone start going off like crazy, it was my ex. She was saying how hurtful it was to see what I did to the tattoo, and how I should’ve gotten it removed.

I feel kinda bad after talking to her about the tattoo but well she cheated so she probably deserved it.

Here are what netizens think:

  1. Divorce It’s tough on everyone, but especially on your children. This is an awful thing for your child to see. Whether you like your ex or not she is still her mother. This is a major jerk move
  2. a few wives later and we’ll have a beautiful Cemetery-
  3. as a woman, if I saw a man with this tattooed on his body I would run the other direction. It really does not show a healthy way of dealing with issues.
  4. I wouldn’t date a man with a tattoo like that. No way would I want to be wife number 2 and risk eventually having my own tombstone on his arm.
  5. Yea. I fully get wishing the ex was dead. But not if there is a kid, who has to see his mother’s name like that.

WOMAN FEELS “BOTHERED” BY HER DATE SPEAKING SINGLISH, THINKS SHE VERY ATAS

0

I have gone on 2 dates with a guy whom I met on a dating app and I’m not sure if I should continue going out with him.

We are of the same age and can click reasonably well, and share some similar interests. However 2 aspects of him bother me.

Firstly – he doesn’t behave as is expected of a gentleman. For instance, he doesn’t hold open the door for me, pull out the chair for me at the restaurant and say ‘please’ or ‘thank you’ to the waitresses. On the second date, I brought a big-sized item but he did not offer to help me carry it at least.

Secondly – he tends to speak too much Singlish while I’m more comfortable sticking to the correct form of English / Chinese I’m using. I am a bit surprised as he holds a masters degree and works in a reputable firm. I don’t know if I’m fussy but I was brought up in a family that emphasizes a lot on courtesy and presentation of oneself.

He has asked me for a third date and I’m not sure how to reply to him. Given that I don’t know him that well yet, is it bad that I point out these issues straight up to him?

Here are what netizens think:

  • Right… The thankless waitress bit does raise an eyebrow on courtesy, but as for yourself… You looking to date a class act is it? Gentlemanly gestures like those are not an obligation, but a bonus, when you consider the typical culture of our nation. That said, the lack of gentlemanly actions are simply things to frown upon if they don’t meet your standards on what makes a man. You’re only dating now, he’s free to be himself, and so are you.Red flags are such an easy word to overuse. If you’ve already dated or started dating and his attitude suddenly changes to this, then that, is an actual red flag. Because nobody just loses their manners or upbringing in an instant and without reason.
  • Pull chair and open door? Does the guy need to call you your royal highness too?
  • Think twice what is so special about you yourself.
  • I used to work in a UK company, my boss asked “why it is when you speak to me, you speak proper english, but when the few of you (singaporean) together i couldn’t understand a single word even i know it is english. there is nothing wrong in speaking singlish with friends and family, i too have master. in workplace when we speak with clients, supervisor, doing presentation we used proper english. If you look down on him no point in going further, just stay silent and he will get the message
  • Oi! Ah girl ah, why you boh suka limpeh talking singlish leh? We are Singapore lang and should embrace our culture mah.And oso why beh tahan limpeh no move chair or is open door huh? This is 2022 lah. Woman can open own door mah. So picky one you. Aiyah, limpeh 看错了 you. So beh gum one. 算了! Limpeh not taking you out again. 算 limpeh pai mia to meet you. So sway one.

XMM GOT PREGNANT & SCARED HER PARENTS KNOW, BUT NO MONEY TO GET ABORTION

0

I messed up and I need an abortion. What do I do?

I’m f20. My period is 2 weeks late so i decided to get a pregnancy test kit. Both the tests indicated that im pregnant.

What should i do? I dont have any medisave since i just finished school. Any affordable clinics i can go to in Singapore to go thru with my abortion or should I take some abortion pills.

I don’t have much money since I just finished school and I don’t want my parents involved in this. What can I do?

I read some posts where they paid about $200 with a referral from the poly and then paid the rest with medisave.

Is instalment payment available for an abortion? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

Netizens’ comments

  1. You need to go to a GP or polyclinic asap and have a chat with the doctor. They will advise you on what you can do, and their advice is worth a ton more than any advice you can get online.
this burden is not yours to bear alone, go with your guy or a friend
  2. I recently had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks, there was a water bag but no fetus inside. They still had to terminate the “pregnancy” as my body wasn’t recognising there wasn’t a baby in there. I was prescribed an abortion pill called Misoprostol which was less than $10 and everything was out within a day. This was done at SGH. Not sure if this would be an option for you but it’s definitely affordable and easy if it is. Perhaps try the polyclinic then referral to hospital route? Good luck, feel free to PM if you need more info.
  3. See your GP and listen to him/her. They know how everything works and will help you.
Also find a person that can help you go through with this. Abortion is not a small thing for your body and your mental health. Also the hormones from abortion and pregnancy will screw with you in weird ways.
Please dont go through this alone. Whatever happens find a person

MAN TOO ROUGH & AGGRESSIVE WITH GF IN BED UNTIL SHE CRIES, THEN HE DUMPS HER

0

Bf walked out after I said that I didn’t like the f-ing we had just had

Earlier in the day, I asked my bf if he wanted to get intimate. He said why can’t we just wait for tonight so I said okay and we continued with our day.

Later that night he came into the room and pulled my shorts and underwear off without saying anything (I was participating but he was a bit rough).

There was no foreplay and we justed f-ed straight away. We do typically have rougher sex, it just felt more rough and aggressive, not as loving as usual.

He didn’t finish but when he was done he went and cleaned up then came back and got in bed. At that point I was already crying because I was feeling very used so I got up and went and sat down outside to cool off.

He eventually came out and asked why I wasn’t laying with him. Honestly he was speaking aggressively and it’s hard for me to have conversations when I feel like the other person, esp my partner is being aggressive toward me.

I wasn’t doing very well at explaining myself and he was like I can’t believe you would think I would try to hurt you and I was trying to say that I was just telling how it made me feel but I probably wasn’t explaining myself well and I don’t think he was really listening.

He ended up saying that type of thing is how people catch charges and he doesn’t think we should see each other anymore so I just let him leave.

I realize I should have said something during but I was just thinking that I should let him finish and I would be okay. And I should have said something after but I was just upset and I don’t like having those discussions when I’m upset.

Really I just wanted him to try to understand what I was saying but he just got so defensive from the first thing I said. It’s probably for the best to just let things with him go but I do really like him

XMMs QUEUE FOR MORE THAN 5 HRS FOR BTS MERCH UNDER THE SUN, 1 EVEN KENA SUN-BURN

BTS member Suga recently held a three-day concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, with performances on Friday (16 June) and Saturday (17 June).

Fans eagerly showed their support by enduring long queues in the hot weather to purchase exclusive merchandise related to the event.

Devoted fans patiently waited for up to five hours in line to acquire BTS Suga merchandise. Videos posted on TikTok during the weekend showcased the extensive queues that snaked throughout the concert venue, with many fans finding respite by sitting down while waiting.

One TikTok user, Raihanna Rayyans, shared her experience on 16 June, revealing that she and her friends arrived at the queue at 8 am. They finally obtained the merchandise they desired at 1:30 pm, enduring the five-and-a-half-hour wait. Raihanna mentioned that the weather was exceptionally humid, and while she was fortunate to queue under shelter, others had to endure the scorching sun for a minimum of two to three hours.

Luckily, a Cheers outlet was conveniently located nearby, allowing fans to purchase drinks to stay refreshed. Nevertheless, the heat caused some fans to experience makeup meltdowns.

Despite the challenges, Raihanna also mentioned some positive aspects of the situation. She expressed gratitude for fellow concert-goers who shared snacks with those waiting in line.

In Raihanna’s case, her concert was scheduled for a later date, enabling her to secure the merchandise days before the actual event.

Another fan recounted queuing up for merchandise at 11:45 am on 16 June. Their video depicted an endless line of fans filling the venue, eagerly anticipating their turn to collect the items. The wait was so extensive that the fan even joked about hosting a giveaway. Additionally, the scorching heat led to sunburns, but kind-hearted individuals offered food and water to help alleviate the discomfort. Finally, the fan made their purchases at 4:45 pm, five hours later.

Both Raihanna and the other fan’s accounts gained attention on TikTok, resonating with other concert-goers who shared similar experiences. One user expressed disappointment at not being able to purchase their desired shirt, despite waiting for five and a half hours in line.

Raihanna advised fans to arrive at the venue early to secure their preferred merchandise before it sells out. She also revealed that some fans went to the extent of queuing overnight. Other users recommended staying hydrated and acknowledged the intense heat of the day.

CB MOTORCYCLIST RODE AGAINST TRAFFIC & CAUSED 64 Y.O RIDER TO FALL OFF BRIDGE & DIE

0

A 41-year-old motorcyclist in Malaysia who rode against the flow of traffic and caused another elderly motorcyclist to fall off the highway and plunge 30 metres to his death, has since turned himself in to the police.

Superintendent Mohd Azam Ismail, the Ampang Jaya district police chief, stated that after turning himself in, the 41-year-old food vendor from Kajang, Selangor, provided his statement at the Kajang police station.

What happened?

On the Sungai Besi Ulu Kelang Highway (SUKE) near Ulu Kelang, at Km22.2, on June 14, the Ducati Panigale rider, Ahmad Fadzil Omar Azzadin, 62, was thrown off an elevated highway while trying to avoid a motorcyclist riding against the flow of traffic at 1:05 p.m.

Reports indicated that Fadzil was maneuvering through a bend when he swerved to avoid the oncoming motorcyclist. Subsequently, he collided with a divider and was propelled 30 meters down the elevated flyover. Sadly, Fadzil was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Azam, statements have been obtained from six individuals, including the suspect involved in the accident. The suspect claimed that he had become lost while traveling from Ampang to his residence in Kajang. As a result, he chose to access the SUKE flyover against the traffic, which led to the fatal accident.

“In the course of the collision, the suspect was also thrown off his motorcycle. Following the incident, the suspect returned home and only became aware of the accident after seeing it on the news and social media,” Azam stated in a released statement.

Suspect not arrested yet because he was injured as well

The suspect sustained multiple injuries, including a broken right shoulder, a fractured pinkie finger, as well as injuries to his left shoulder and right leg. As a part of the investigation, authorities have seized the suspect’s Yamaha motorcycle and certain items for further examination. Due to his injuries, the suspect has not yet been arrested.

Both motorcycles, belonging to the victim and the suspect, will undergo thorough inspection at the Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (Puspakom) and the Chemistry Department.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

MAN SAYS HE IS GOING BLIND BECAUSE HIS PARTNER HAS HERPES

0

Um so basically I just got told by my ophthalmologist that I have eyeball herpes…,,,,?! ???? I didn’t even know that was possible lmao. it looked kinda weirdly pretty when magnified on her screen… like a florescent green constellation floating across my cornea…

Then I found out that herpes simplex keratitis is a major cause of blindness worldwide ????????

Anywhos.. am I now morally obliged to tell future partners I have herpes??? No idea if I have type 1 or type 2 and I have no other symptoms.. but it’s super common right? Like >70% of the population has type 1 and like >15% has type 2? Helppp I’m too young to be blind AND have to live in a nunnery BIG STRESS My mind was spinning. I just got told by my ophthalmologist that I had eyeball herpes… and I was in complete shock. I had no idea that was even possible. To make matters worse, she showed me a magnified image of the virus on her screen and it looked oddly beautiful. It was like a fluorescent green constellation floating across my cornea.

But then I found out that herpes simplex keratitis is actually a major cause of blindness worldwide. I was so overwhelmed with fear. Would I go blind? How did I get it in the first place? And most of all, would I have to tell my future partners that I have herpes?

I did some research online and found out that, indeed, it is very common. About 70% of the population has type 1 and another 15% has type 2. That was a relief, but I still had no idea what type I had. I had no other symptoms and all I knew was that I had to be extra careful with my eye health from now on.

So I decided to take the proactive approach. I started looking into ways to reduce the risk of blindness caused by herpes simplex keratitis. For starters, I began wearing sunglasses whenever I went outside. This would help reduce the risk of getting UV damage to my eyes, which can increase the risk of getting herpes. I also started taking lysine supplements, which are known to help reduce the frequency and severity of outbreaks.

I also made sure to practice good hygiene. I started washing my hands more often and wearing protective eye wear when doing activities like swimming or taking showers. Additionally, I made sure to avoid sharing cosmetics and contact lenses with other people, as this can increase the risk of getting herpes.

Finally, I made an appointment with my eye doctor for a regular checkup. During the appointment, he checked for any signs of the virus and prescribed me with antiviral ointments and drops to help reduce the risk of blindness.

Even though I still don’t know what type of herpes I have, I’m doing everything I can to keep it under control

INTERN WITH NO EXPERIENCE DEMANDS $6,000 SALARY

0

25F working as a sec/dev for multiple cloud service providers.

Recently there was an intern who joined us two months ago only. First time working and no experience.

I’ve heard around he’s been demanding to earn the same pay scale as us ($5k-$6k) and It’s very ridiculous because 1, during the two months he has been with us, he has done nothing and I’ve seen him go for multiple few hours tea breaks. 2, He has no foundation knowledge in the cloud service provider.

I myself have worked my ass up since I was 17 working as an intern ($600), With my first full time paying job at $1800. Now it took me almost 6 years of hard work to get to a paying job of $6k.

Seriously, Youngsters need to know company will NOT consider you just because you have a elite UNI Degree Certificate but will pay u hefty for your work experiences! So don’t get your hopes up of earning $5k straight out of uni.

So as you can see, it is not an easy job and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be successful. It is not something you can do just by reading a few books or watching a few tutorials. You need to be able to learn quickly and think on your feet.

As per my knowledge and experiences, the average starting pay with NO experiences and UNI cert is about 3k-3.5k.
